This notice explains how Team SamJam ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use The LEA Flashcards. Team SamJam is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

Data we collect and why

• Account details (email address, password or Google sign-in) — to create and secure your account (contract).
• Purchase status (whether and when you bought access) — to provide the cards you paid for (contract).
• Study progress (cards marked as known) — to provide the Service (contract).
• Device identifier and technical data (a random device ID, IP address, browser information) — to enforce the one-device rule and prevent fraud and account sharing (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to answer your questions (legitimate interests).

Payment card details are collected directly by Paddle, not by us.

• Service providers who host and run the Service (hosting, database and authentication).

We do not sell your personal data.

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep account and purchase data while your account exists and as needed for legal and accounting purposes. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority. Email us to make a request; we respond within one month.
